comic book info...?
I need info on comic book history, what comic freaks like, and also the questions that they ask in Comic stores (Besides when a specific comic will be in stock) Thanks in advance!
"Comic freaks" as in, comic lovers lol not the bad freak.
I'll be in charge of a comic book store, so my objective is to learn as much as I can in a week.
You'll be in charge of a comic store, but you don't know much about comics history?
This is an enormous question, as the types of questions customers may ask vary widely, from discussions about characters and storylines (and there are thousands) to topics about collecting (do you know about the 35 cent price variant for Star Wars #1 and Iron Fist #14 for example? Can you grade a comic? etc.) to questions about upcoming releases. If you're going to be a retailer, you really need to know as much as possible, and there's so much out there it's hard to say where to start.
If you want to learn comics history, a good overview is a documentary the History Channel did a few years back called Comicbook Superheros Unmasked. You used to be able to watch this pretty easily online, but I guess they had it pulled since I can't find it now. You can probably download it from a torrents site if you use those, or netflix it, or rent it. It's about 90 minutes and it covers basically everything major for American comics over the past 70 years. It touches on every major character and many of their major story arcs. Reading everything is impossible, but knowing ABOUT the important story lines even if you haven't read them is going to be pretty essential to running a store and helping customers.

comic books came out of pulp fiction, it was called pulp fiction because it was printed on cheap paper that felt rough, do a search for pulp magazine so you dont get millions of sites for that movie
