How do I become a comic book writer?

So, I'm 14, and I really wan to write comics. I live in Arkansas, is there a publisher here? What should I major in college?

Writing comic books is more along the lines of making a storyboard with a more in depth dialogue. You basically outline the scenes like you would in a screenplay and create the dialogue. In fact, it's pretty much exactly like writing screenplays, but with a slightly different format. Play around with the software above and see if you can get the general idea of it. You'll find a comic book writing option in it.
If that doesn't help, do what all the great writers do: consult Google. Go to Google and search "How do I write a comic book?" That simple.
Best of luck. I remember the kind of ambition I had at your age. I'm aiming more for a novelist myself, but the idea is the same. Just keep writing and writing and writing, and you're skills will get better and better as you go.
