What's the best way to sell comic books?
I used to collect comics when I was a kid. I have well over a thousand now, most of which I don't care to read again. I'm pretty sure some of them are quite valuable so I'd like to sell them. What's the best way to do that? Through ebay? Amazon? At a comic shop?
I'd mostly like to get rid of them (they take up a lot of space), but I'd also like to not get jipped at the same time. Any recommendations or advice would be appreciated.
First, you may want to find out how much they're worth. My suggestion to you is to go to cgccomics.com and read up on the subject.
Comics are graded by age, condition, issue (the revelency of the issue, like if it was the 1st of a popular series, if a popular character is introduced/killed/has something major happen to him or her, etc.), and the original cost.
After they've been graded by the website, you'll want to sell them. EBay is often a good place to sell comics if you're willing to accept PayPal or ProPay; eBay no longer allows sellers to accept checks or money orders.
Beware: not everyone pays for their items. Luckily, you can file a non-paying bidder report against whoever tries to rip you off.

who still loves to read comic books?
Hi, I know someone whom is very very good with working with comic books. Could say they have their own store to run. What would you like when you go comic book shopping to find in the store? and what is the most helpful service you expect to find in a comic book store? I am just woundering whom is still reading or studing comic books and from what area's of the great USA. For example I ask for help in finding comic books that come on the market at the time of a special date, this was intresting to see which comic books came on the market with the same date, If anyone has any questions about comic books please share and I will pass them on to the expert. A good way to keep a comic store running is to stock it with Japanese manga (literally, comics) and other "otaku" merchandise. Pocky, Ramune soda, anime, stuffed animals, posters, etc.
