Anyone have experience with getting rid of cats?
My wife took a cat in about 2 years ago. We spent the money to get her spayed & shots. Seemed like she was worthy, kids played with her a lot. Soon after, she destroyed a new living room set with her claws, rather than follow my 1st impluse (choke her to death) I spent more money on de-clawing. That fixed that problem. Meanwhile, as she grew she gradually become un-interested in people. If you touch her she insists on licking your scent off. She refuses to sit next to you or allow you to play with her. We have a retriever, she loves him and cuddles with him but hates everyone else. She is truly a basket case. Compulsive disorder or something. Some time ago my wife bought the kids bean bags, found they were destroyed as the cat pissed in them. I found piss on my carpets in basement. Instead of choking her, I took her to the vet, got some pills to help with a potential infection. Now she's pissed on shoes, comic collection, all over. Do I turn her to a shelter? Ask for euthinizing? Vet?
You should try to find a new home for her on Petfinder.com... Sometimes it's hard to find the right pet for your life... When it comes to pets bad habits, you've gotta find one with habits you can tolerate....
I've taken in alot of animals and they usually do have bad habits... You probably shouldn't take in an animal you know nothing about... Try the humane society or petfinder...
Props to you for putting up with so much and putting time and effort into trying to make the cat fit into your life.... Don't listen to all the a**holes comments

Set Me Free by COMIC RELIEF
Save......or Sell?
I have a huge collection of Hercules and Xena items that includes props from the shows, original comic art, 8 complete sets of trading cards with all autographs (in custom binders)...All of the action figures from both shows, including prototypes of several figures, Autographed photos and plaques, a Gabrielle staff, 2 Xena swords with leather scabbords, Xena original chakram, Hercules sword, sterling silver jewelry, etc, etc, etc. This collection fills an entire room in my house, and I need to move it to a larger room. That is no problem, since I live in a big house.
My question is: Should I keep this collection as a
possible investment, or sell it? It would be sold as
a complete collection, not individual items.
Your opinions?
I am not for sure of your age at this time.........but I would say you should keep it as an investment.
But keep an eye on the market and it it looks like it is going down on these items.....sell.
