Drawing Comic Books
how to i draw/write comic books?
i have some ideas for stories and the only medium i can think that it can be expressed through is like comic books but i have no drawing skills at all. i saw some kits at michaels, one 15 and the other 30$ that shows you how to draw comic characters. so how would i go about learning?
instead of kits at Michale's, I would suggest "how to draw comics the marvel way" its probably the best drawing book ever printed for the comics medium, then I would suggest any books by scott Mcloud, like "understanding comics" and "making comics" there amazing books that really changes the way you see the medium of comics.
I would try writing first, and read the typed scrips from Your favorite writers, I know brian bendis has some books of his scripts, and many marvel books reprint some scripts in trades and special editions.
