what is the best joker comic book?
ever since i went and saw batman the dark knight i fell in love with the joker. he is my all time favorite villain everything about him. and i want to read some of the joker comics? any one have any good suggestions? and will they be expensive because there so old?
The Killing Joke is a must-read and Return of the Dark Knight is also very good. Other good ones are A Death in the Family, Emperor Joker, and Last Laugh. If you're interested, Mad Love tells the story of Harley Quinn. These graphic novels aren't too expensive, most should be around $20.

what is the most expensive comic book?
The top two comics by far are Action Comics #1 (first appearance of Superman) and Detective Comics #27 (first appearance of Batman). Superman's first appearance was always the top comic for as long as I can remember but when I checked Nostomania to provide a source I found that Detective Comic #27 has apparently beaten it out.

I believe the list is based off the values given in the Overstreet Price Guide (basically the Bible of comic book values) but I don't have the latest edition to verify if the prices on the website are the same.
