How To Open A Comic Book Store
Comic book pull list?
I have been out of the comic loop for a couple years now, but just had store open up in town so I'm thinking about starting to collect again. Back then I never bothered to get a "pull list" but with a store finally convenient, how does it usually work? Do you pay monthly, and just make a list of the comics you want? Also, what would be a ballpark price for a list of about 10 comics or so?
At the store I have a pull list, I gave them a list of he books that I would like to get. As they come in on Wed., they pull them and put them in my box. I pay for them as I pick them up. If I can't or don't want to pick something up at the time I do a pick up, I am able to put them back in my box to pick up next time.
Also check with the store. My store offers 10% off all my books. Also I am able to receive variants first if I want and also email them with additions for books.
As for what 10 books will run you, it would be between $30-50 depending on the book. Most books will be going for $3.99 now.
