Will It Do Much Good That The UN Security Council has Imposed Sanctions on N. Korea?
It looks good on paper.
But guess who is calling the shots?
One sanction including ship searches for banned weapons. But China's U.N. Ambassador Wang Guangya said afterward that the provision allowing the boarding of ships to inspect cargo was still unacceptable to Beijing and it would not carry out inspections.
To meet Russian & Chinese concerns, the Americans eliminated a complete ban on the sale of conventional weapons. Instead, the resolution limits the embargo to major hardware such as tanks, warships, combat aircraft and missiles. .
In a measure aimed at North Korea's tiny elite, the resolution bans the sale of luxury goods to the country. Kim is known for his love of cognac and lobster and collection of thousands of bottles of vintage French wine.
Resolution calls on all countries to inspect cargo leaving & arriving in N.Korea to prevent any illegal trafficking in unconventional weapons or ballistic missiles..But China said it would not carry out any searches.

i think N. Korea should have their weapons of mass destruction
England has no right to try & stop them 'cos we're planning on updating OUR weapons of mass destruction soon.
America should be the last people to speak because they've got loads of 'em! and enough guns and planes to bury cities without even detonating any of them!
